Abby cop struck by fleeing truck
A three-year veteran of the Abbotsford Police Department escaped serious injury when he was hit while trying to deploy a spike belt Saturday afternoon. The incident began around 1:30 p.m. when police officers noticed a Ford F350 pickup truck with U.S. licence plates in the area of a known drug house on Sumas Prairie.
