Abbotsford ministers hang on to their seats
Abbotsford-Clayburn incumbent John van Dongen and his colleague in Abbotsford-Mount Lehman, Mike de Jong, were handily returned to the legislature by voters in Tuesday night's provincial vote, although their NDP challengers brought the numbers close in some polls.

Hawes winner after a tight race
After a nail-biting night of results
that had first one candidate ahead, then another, Liberal incumbent Randy Hawes
was announced the winner in Maple Ridge-Mission around midnight.
